Written by Hugh Martin & Ralph Blane
Arranged by Stephen Konrads

Our version contains the rarely-heard original lyrics, in their entirety. Written for Judy Garland to sing in the 1944 film "Meet Me In St. Louis," lyricist Hugh Martin was forced to alter several lines in the song when Garland deemed them "too depressing." Further changes were made at a later date, at the request of Frank Sinatra, for the same reason.
